Maintenance Fitter Position


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on our machinery and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as required to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with other team members to address any mechanical issues that may impact production.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in equipment overhauls and planned shutdowns as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably within the food manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
