About the Role

This permanent full-time Allied Health Assistant position is available at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional.

The role involves undertaking designated departmental and administrative tasks to support service delivery, with opportunities for training, development, and career progression within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines as delegated by the supervising Allied Health Professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional.
  • Undertake designated departmental and administrative tasks to support service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification, or a minimum of 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 months.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, work within scope of practice, and seek assistance when required.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian C-Class driver's licence (including P1 or P2).
