Secure your future with a dynamic security role in Mount Isa. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Security Officers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of people and property. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a visible security presence on site
  • Conducting access control and traffic management
  • Performing mobile and foot patrols, including vehicle and bag security inspections
  • Responding to emergencies and incidents on site

In this role, you will work within a permanent 4 on 4 off rotational roster consisting of 12-hour shifts of days and nights. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring only authorized vehicles and personnel enter site.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid QLD drivers' licence
  • QLD Security Licence - unarmed security officer as a minimum (funded by us where a return of service agreement is entered)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Certification to Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing certification (HLTPAT005) - we will pay for successful candidates for this course
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications
