We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the effective implementation and management of quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within our transportation department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies and objectives for QHSE management in transportation operations.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards related to transport safety and environmental compliance.
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks within the transportation operations, including safety hazards, environmental impacts, and quality control issues.
  • Developing risk management plans and procedures to mitigate identified risks and monitor their implementation.
  • Promoting a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

In addition, you will lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses within the transportation operations, prepare and submit incident reports, and conduct regular audits and inspections of transportation facilities, equipment, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with QHSE standards.

  • Proven experience in QHSE management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
