Job Role

The role of Furniture Delivery Driver is a key position in our organisation, responsible for delivering and collecting furniture and accessories to and from customer homes.

As a representative of our company, you will engage with customers using excellent interpersonal skills, upholding our commitment to quality service.

This job involves loading and unloading delivery vehicles at the warehouse, protecting and shelving furniture and accessories. You must be able to cope with the physical demands of the job and have a strong commitment to safety.

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles at properties, protecting and caring for our goods and clients' premises is also a critical aspect of this role. Leading by example and delegating tasks to off-siders, including positioning furniture and accessories as per stylist instructions, is essential.

About the Opportunity
  • Loading and Unloading Vehicles: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles at the warehouse, protecting and shelving furniture and accessories.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of our goods and clients' premises.
Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Vehicles: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles at properties, protecting and caring for our goods and clients' premises.
  • Leading by Example: Leading by example and delegating tasks to off-siders, including positioning furniture and accessories as per stylist instructions.
  • Liaising with Clients: Liaising with clients and completing paperwork.
Requirements
  • Australian Driving Licence: Must have an Australian driving licence.
  • Driving Experience: Experience driving manual vehicles is preferred, and experience driving up to 3 ton trucks is highly regarded.
  • Availability: Available Monday - Friday for 7.00 am starts.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Great customer service and communication skills. Reliable, flexible, trustworthy, and positive attitude.
