Furniture Installation and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Furniture Installer/Driver. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and assembling office furniture to our clients across Sydney.

Job Summary:

Deliver and assemble office furniture safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power tools and a valid drivers licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a vehicle up to 4.5 tonne safely and efficiently
  • Assemble office furniture onsite, including desks, meeting tables, and reception counters
  • Check, load, unload, deliver, and assemble office furniture in a safe and timely manner
  • Work in a two-man team and use company vehicles in a safe, courteous, professional, and appropriate manner
  • Communicate with our team, customers, and suppliers in a safe, courteous, professional, and appropriate manner
  • Verify that all goods collected/delivered match product details/descriptions/serial numbers on invoices, delivery dockets, etc.

Requirements:

  • Eye for detail and quality workmanship
  • Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items regularly
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn on the job
  • Valid drivers licence and comfortable driving a vehicle up to 4.5 tonne
