Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading and delivering data analytics and integration activities that underpin the strategic asset management function within a large-scale operational division.

The position ensures that asset management planning and processes are consistent, compliant, and embedded across the division, supporting broader objectives in resource planning, financial management, and performance.

It promotes a strong safety culture, ensuring assets and work practices meet regulatory requirements while fostering a competent and engaged workforce aligned with divisional goals.

The role provides specialist asset management advice to support financial planning, procurement, and operational performance to optimise the use of resources across the asset lifecycle.

It ensures strategic asset management is fully integrated into both operational and strategic planning, with robust processes for auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and strategies at a senior level.
  • Analyse asset data to drive reliability improvements and efficiencies.
  • Lead and manage teams to deliver successful organisational outcomes.
  • Negotiate and consult at a high level to build and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and manage priorities to deliver outcomes on time.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience in complex, asset-intensive environments with strong knowledge of ISO55000 principles.
  • Proven expertise in developing policies, procedures, and strategies at a senior level.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
