
Pain Management Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our multidisciplinary team in a pain management support role.
About the Position
- This is a key opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in patient care and contribute to a well-established service providing assessment and treatment for persistent pain.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and organised reception services, ensuring a positive experience for patients attending our centre.
- Manage data entry and ensure accurate recording of patient information into multiple systems.
- Co-ordinate Medicare billing and reconciliation processes, maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
- Efficiently manage waiting lists and appointment bookings, ensuring minimal disruptions to patient schedules.
Requirements
- A minimum of Year 12 level numeracy and literacy skills or equivalent.
- Previous experience in reception or administration in a busy environment, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- High degree of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and data management systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with ability to multi-task and maintain high levels of productivity.

- Excellent telephone manner and empathy for patient care.
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
