We are currently recruiting for casual OSHC Educators to join our Gainsborough Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care of children before school, after school, and during school holiday periods.

The YMCA Queensland is committed to providing fun, stimulating, and safe care for primary and secondary school children. Our service aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.

To achieve this goal, we require OSHC Educators who have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must also be able to establish positive relationships with children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
  • Provide quality care and supervision to children at all times
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with other educators to plan and deliver programs
Requirements:
  • Current studying or completed a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or similar
  • A current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
