Role Overview

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is the independent national regulator of NDIS providers. We are seeking an accomplished senior executive to lead our national communications, engagement and education functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver strategic communication plans to build awareness of NDIS participant rights and enhance the Commission's reputation.
  • Oversee the development of educational resources for NDIS providers and workers on their obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including governments and the disability sector.
  • Ensure all communications are inclusive and accessible.
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior executive experience in communications, engagement and/or education.
  • Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the rights of people with disability and inclusive practice.
