Role Overview
The Head of Learning Diversity plays a pivotal role in driving educational excellence and inclusivity within our academic community.
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the Learning Diversity Department Services and working collaboratively with the Learning and Teaching Team to develop and implement effective learning strategies that cater to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the needs of diverse learners and work closely with staff to ensure inclusive education practices.
- Lead the team in implementing strategies to enhance participation, access, and engagement in learning for all students.
- Maintain a relentless focus on learning across the institution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a teaching allotment as negotiated with the principal.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven capacity for proactive educational leadership of students with diverse learning needs.
- Highly developed skills in leading staff in continuous improvement in learning and teaching.
- Commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the importance of charism and spiritual tradition in the life of an order-owned school.
