MC Local Driver Wanted

Seeking an experienced MC local driver to transport freight within Sydney. This full-time role is based at our depot and offers stable employment, career development, and opportunities to work with a modern fleet of trucks.

About the Job

We are looking for a skilled driver to handle the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of general freight within Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an MC-class truck, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of mileage and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an MC-class truck to transport freight between depots and customer locations in the local area.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to manage deliveries effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, work hours, and deliveries.
Requirements:
  • A valid MC-class driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with multi-drop pickups and deliveries.
  • Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
