Job Opportunity: Local Freight Delivery Driver

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to manage our local freight delivery operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, work efficiently in a steady-paced environment, and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy throughout their daily tasks.

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a delivery driver, hold a valid commercial drivers' license (MC Licence), and demonstrate a professional mindset with strong accountability and commitment to meeting goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Complete pickups and deliveries of general freight on schedule and in full.
  2. Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  3. Maintain accurate records of shipments and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver in a similar role.
  • Valid commercial drivers' license (MC Licence).
  • Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory.
