Technical Leader in Social Infrastructure Development

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Director to lead our social infrastructure development team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving optimal design outcomes that achieve best value and meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, including developing analysis required to consolidate new revenue streams for existing projects.
- Support asset development and delivery approval processes, as well as internal governance activities.
- Manage all technical aspects of social infrastructure/ accommodation development-phase assets, including:
- Developing projects that achieve Commercial and Financial Close
- Delivering successful PPP bids
- Forming strong relationships with D&C/EPC and O&M/FM contractor's design leads and coordinating their input into Client and securing competitive subcontractor price
- Providing technical input into key project contracts such as D&C/EPC and O&M/FM subcontracts
- Preparing market suppliers strategy and comparison, negotiating advisors' mandates
- Manage consultants in accordance with project budgets and overall timeframes
- Support the development team to successfully develop target assets that maximize value to the Group

About YouWe are looking for someone who is driven to lead optimal design outcomes and has a proven track record in successfully developing buildings, social infrastructure/ accommodation assets. The ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary degree (Bachelor level) qualifications in Civil Engineering or Architecture12+ years post graduate experienceExperience (ideally 5+ years') working in relevant technical roles within social infrastructureProven track record in managing interfaces with D&C/EPC and O&M/FM contractors during development phasesAbility to synthesise and present technical recommendations with strong business justificationFamiliarity with a wide range of new and emerging technologies, BIM, Digital twins, etc.Strong commercial and technical skill set with ability to manage complex project issuesAbility to establish, maintain and manage effective relationships and partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholdersWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $250,000 per annum, plus benefits, including a focus on promoting from within, salary continuance insurance, discounted private health insurance, One Rewards consumer discounts and saving platform, dedicated health & wellness programs, and supportive people policies.
