Position Overview

We are pleased to present a permanent position within our organization focused on evaluating and fixing MTData dispatch systems, EFTPOS devices, taxi meters, surveillance cameras, and various other taxi-related apparatus. Previous experience is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for Network Safety compliance.
  • Repair and maintain MTData dispatch systems, EFTPOS terminals, taxi meters, surveillance cameras, and other taxi-related equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and procure necessary parts and materials for repairs.
  • Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues related to the MTData dispatch system and the Cabcharge FAREWAY plus system.
  • Remove and apply decals and branding on taxis.
  • Interpret technical manuals and software to identify spare parts, coordinating with the TAXITECH Manager for ordering.
  • Ensure shop equipment remains operational by adhering to operating instructions, troubleshooting issues, maintaining inventory, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Adhere to all established Health and Safety policies, procedures, and verbal instructions provided by the TAXITECH Manager.
  • Guarantee that all work is performed efficiently and meets industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate service and administrative records in line with company record-keeping protocols.
