Emotional Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Worker to join our emotional wellbeing team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and supporting young pregnant and parenting people, as well as vulnerable youth affected by domestic and family violence, to access and navigate specialised primary healthcare services.
- Delivering one-on-one and group therapeutic interventions focused on the impacts of domestic and family violence and strengthening resilience through a trauma-informed approach.
- Coordinating and evaluating grant-funded programs and partnerships that empower young people and families to manage their health and wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification eligible for full membership with the relevant professional association.
- Proven experience supporting young pregnant and parenting people, especially those impacted by domestic and family violence, from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiencing complex needs.
- Advanced communication and conflict management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative relationships.
