Senior Research Associate, Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Specialist

This role is designed for a professional who can lead initiatives to improve social and emotional wellbeing outcomes for First Nations individuals, families, and communities. The successful applicant will contribute to original research within the field and to the SEWB research program.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement strengths-based research projects that enhance social and emotional wellbeing outcomes.
- Conduct high-quality, culturally relevant research on topics including workforce wellbeing, child and youth wellbeing, tertiary student wellbeing, and novel treatments for wellbeing.
- Collaborate with First Nations communities and stakeholders to develop effective solutions and interventions.
- PhD in a related discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, Indigenous studies) and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting research on First Nations SEWB with a track record of high-quality, culturally relevant work.
- Ability to lead research teams and mentor junior researchers, especially in culturally diverse or interdisciplinary settings.
