About the Role
You will be accountable for your practice and delegated tasks while guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. You will develop your practice from competent to proficient, while contributing to clinical teaching, research, and important projects that shape mental health services.
Your Responsibilities
- Delivering compassionate, expert mental health nursing care across diverse settings
- Providing individual case management, education, counselling, and group work
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations to create positive outcomes for consumers
- Guiding and mentoring less experienced staff to develop their practice
- Contributing to clinical teaching, research, and important projects that shape mental health services
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will hold current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA and have experience in mental health nursing.
