About This Role
This position requires:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse with the NMBA and Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent);
- Experience: At least three years of post-registration experience;
- Clinical Skills & Knowledge: Competency in mental health nursing practice, knowledge of contemporary nursing and healthcare issues, and familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards;
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and health professionals, and a commitment to consumer-focused care;
- Professionalism & Initiative: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, analyse situations objectively, and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating mental health nursing care.
