About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill a key position in our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the supply chain of pulses, grains and coffee from South America for international customers predominantly located in South East Asia.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic procurement and inventory management of pulses, grains and coffee from South American suppliers.
    The successful candidate will source and procure grain, pulse and coffee products from South American growers and suppliers.
  2. Operational planning and cost control to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.
  3. Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage contracts effectively.
  4. Data and transaction tracking to monitor sales and procurement activities.
  5. Regular visits to current and potential customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  6. Travel to and visit international customers as required.
  7. Assess and provide solutions to customer needs and issues.
  8. Negotiate and quote terms and pricing to existing and new customers.
  9. Liaise with logistics management and staff to ensure Delivery in Full and on Time.
  10. Follow up with customers to ensure ACE supply promise has been kept and take action to rectify any issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the selling of pulse, grain and coffee.
  • Intimate knowledge of international pulse, grain and coffee markets with a specialisation in South America, South East Asia and Australia.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of shipping/logistics out of South America.
  • Established network of customers with a focus on South East Asia.
