We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in mobile testing and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our customers.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, executing, and analyzing manual and automated tests for sprint and regression testing. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives. Your ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and participate in agile ceremonies will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, create, execute, and analyze manual and automated tests for sprint and regression testing.
  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives.
  • Collaborate with developers to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and get them fixed.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies and build good relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of functional and automation testing experience (ISTQB certification is desirable).
  • At least 3-5 years of mobile apps testing experience.
  • Experience in open-source automation tools such as Cypress/XCUITest/Espresso and Cucumber.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented development practices using Java and/or other similar ones.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG.
  • Good understanding of agile & lean delivery principles.
