Job Role:

In the role of Technical Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing and leading test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will also involve leading test execution and defect management. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and other tools. As a Technical Test Lead, you will be expected to be a good mentor and guide the team members. You will also contribute in creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
  • Lead test execution and defect management.
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and other tools.
  • Be a good mentor and guide team members.
  • Contribute in creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in UI, API automation using Selenium (JAVA), Playwright, Rest Assured, and Postman to develop and maintain automation frameworks/libraries, tools.
  • Strong experience in automating chatbots, applications (compatible with Web, mobile apps) developed for having chat conversations.
  • Good understanding and experience in creating robust automation frameworks, which are reusable and easily maintainable.
  • Experience in API automation testing.
  • Ability to independently create, execute, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks.
  • Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development)/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
  • Experience in scripting/development experience (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Experience in Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc.
  • Experience in working with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, etc.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
  • Experience in code version controlling tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
  • Experience in project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally, etc.
  • Ability to efficiently lead a team of automation testers, which is not co-located (onshore/offshore model).
  • Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong communication skills and good at stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering space, like RPA, Analytics-driven testing, usage of AI/ML in QA.
  • Knowledge on GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and its adoption within enterprises.
  • Good experience on mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others to provide fit-for-purpose solutions for our clients.

Salary Range:

AUD 101,232 - 102,031 Annual Gross.
