Job Title: Senior Marketing Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled marketing professional to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth and brand awareness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating compelling content, designing marketing collateral, and managing targeted marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
  • Create engaging content for social media, videos, EDMs, and print materials.
  • Design marketing collateral and digital assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate targeted marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain and grow our presence across key social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Manage the social media content calendar and schedule regular posts to engage and grow audiences.
  • Support the planning and promotion of internal and external events, including marketing support and collateral.
  • Prepare and submit grant and funding applications in line with guidelines and deadlines.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across formats.
  • Manage and update our website to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant information.
  • Coordinate quality control and proofreading of marketing content.

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing department, design/ad agency, or digital agency.
  • Experience working with social media.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Canva (mandatory) along with Hub Spot, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software (Mail Chimp).
  • Expertise in the use of Microsoft 365 programs.
  • Proven experience in successfully implementing brand and/or marketing campaigns across a range of communication channels.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, measuring, and interpreting brand and marketing metrics.
  • Experience with Event Management will be an advantage.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership to the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA).
  • Membership of Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) and a firm understanding of best practice principles and relevant tertiary qualification in Communications or similar (desirable).
