Support Defence Students and Families

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to work as part of a team in a busy school, providing support to Defence students and families.

This role involves delivering assistance from the school setting with an emphasis on student mobility and service-induced separations and the issues they present.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building strong relationships with students, parents and teachers, and collaborating with the Education Liaison Officer to provide links to Defence and DMFS resources.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide information and support to students and families helping them settle into their new school environment.

  • Deliver assistance from the school setting
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents and teachers
  • Collaborate with the Education Liaison Officer to provide links to Defence and DMFS resources

This is an ongoing part-time position available immediately, requiring 10 hours per week (school term only). The work time is flexible with Tuesday being a preferred day.
