About Our Team

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking team at Equity Trustees, committed to delivering exceptional risk management and compliance services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Risk Practice and Compliance Manager to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

In this role, you will work closely with our Enterprise Risk team to develop and implement our risk management framework, and provide risk advice and guidance to business areas.

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework that mitigates risks and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide risk advice and guidance to business areas to ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Contribute to developing and delivering compliance training programs to ensure staff awareness of regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external parties, to promote a positive risk culture.
  • Ensure effective second-line monitoring activities are in place to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, including the Corporations Act and SIS Act.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance risk management and compliance practices.
  • Results-driven individual with a strong track record of delivering results.
