Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

About the RoleWe seek a dedicated permanent full-time workplace rehabilitation specialist to join our Human Resources Team. As an experienced return to work coordinator, you will develop, implement and evaluate return-to-work strategies that meet organisational objectives, support employee recovery, and promote a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage workers compensation claims, non-work-related injuries and health conditions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, compliance codes, guidelines and Corporate policies and procedures.
- Process claims documents, certificates and invoices within required timeframes, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures and workers' compensation legislation.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including WorkSafe agents, health practitioners, rehabilitation providers, claimants and relevant parties to ensure efficient claims management and resolution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in workers' compensation management, including hands-on experience in claims and injury management in a complex and large organisation.
- Return to Work Coordinator Certification.
- Strong working knowledge of Victorian Worker's Compensation and Injury Management legislation.
