Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in CAMHS and Mental Health Dietetics, with the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

About This Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced dietitian to make a real difference in the lives of service users. As a Clinical Dietitian Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist nutritional advice and treatment to individuals with mental health conditions.

You will take a clinical role in the CAMHS and Mental Health Dietetics team, working as a dietetic practitioner within uni-professional and multi-professional team environments. You will contribute to treatment plans and act as a source of expertise on dietetic/nutritional management to service users, carers, and other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nutritional or dietetic advice, treatment, and support to service users, taking into account their mental, psychological, emotional, and physical needs.
  • Take responsibility as a specialist practitioner with a high degree of autonomy for planning and delivering treatment for service users on your own caseload, under the supervision of senior specialist dietitians.
