About the Role

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of building and grounds maintenance, facility improvements, and contractor processes. This role is critical in ensuring that maintenance activities align with the strategic goals of the College, ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and optimal use of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a cohesive team to manage maintenance activities, facility improvements, and contractor processes
  • Coordinate projects to minimize disruption and ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes
  • Handle financial management of maintenance expenditures and ensure compliance with College regulations
  • Support the College community by ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, safe, and ready for various events and activities
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Technical expertise in various building systems and maintenance tasks
  • Project management experience in overseeing and executing facility improvement projects
  • Vendor management experience in working with and managing external contractors and service providers
  • Budget management experience in managing large budgets for maintenance operations
