The Retail Operations Leadership role is a permanent full-time position based at the Vinnies store in Newtown. You will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, working effectively with the retail team to achieve sales targets. To be successful, you will require proven experience in achieving financial objectives, demonstrated leadership skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to manage daily store operations
- In the absence of the Store Manager, oversee all aspects of store operations, including supervising employees and volunteers, and handling customer complaints
- Drive sales performance to its maximum potential
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of KPIs/budgets and the needs of the business and the community it serves
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff
- Support the consistent implementation of store policies and procedures.
You Will Need
- Experience in achieving or exceeding sales and KPI benchmarks
- Demonstrated leadership skills or potentials that can be developed through training and development
- A genuine interest in mentoring a dynamic team of employees and volunteers
- The ability to comprehend financial objectives and budgets.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include not-for-profit salary packaging, providing tax-free savings and increased disposable income.
