We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Alfred Health, providing expert care and support to young adults with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position offering a salary of approximately $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with families and carers to develop personalized treatment plans, focusing on behavior assessment, intervention, and specialist consultation.
  • You will be responsible for adapting psychological therapies according to the individual's developmental profile, ensuring they have access to targeted mental health care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years' clinical experience as a Registered Clinical Psychologist (Grade 3)
  • Approved tertiary qualifications and registration with the Psychology Board via AHPRA
  • Australian working rights and current Victorian Driver's License
  • Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccinations and current Working with Children Check
