The Role

We are looking for a senior Design and Construct HVAC Design Engineer to work with our modelling, project management and site construction teams to deliver our mechanical services projects.

You will be responsible for developing and fostering positive relationships with team members, clients, consultants, site teams and sub-contractors.

You will need strong written and verbal communication skills to break down complex issues to communicate our intent successfully and needs to clients, consultants and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review concept designs for Value Management opportunities
  • Create and defend HVAC designs that meet code compliance requirements
  • Review and interpret Fire Engineering Reports to identify mechanical services non-compliances
  • Create and implement mechanical services Fire Matrix for projects
Requirements

A degree in mechanical engineering recognised by Engineers Australia

At least ten years of HVAC design and construction experience in a similar role

Extensive heat load calculation experience using CAMEL or equivalent software

Experience with Excel and Bluebeam software
