Healthcare Support Specialist

Job Overview

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer support to healthcare businesses across Australia. Your primary responsibility will be to provide prompt and friendly assistance to customers through various channels, including phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide customers on setting up practice management software to integrate with payment facilities and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Troubleshoot payment and claiming issues for Medicare and Private Health Insurance, providing customers with clear and concise guidance
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in Salesforce
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product enhancements to maintain expertise and provide valuable insights to customers
  • Represent the organization with positivity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to customer success

Qualifications and Skills

  • Call centre background with experience handling inbound or outbound customer interactions, preferably in the payments, banking/finance, or healthcare industries
  • Understanding of healthcare claiming in Australia, including familiarity with Medicare and Private Health Insurance processes
  • Technical aptitude, with confidence using payments equipment and navigating CRM systems to support customer needs efficiently
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences
  • A proactive and growth-oriented mindset, always looking for ways to improve, learn, and contribute beyond the basics
