Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Development Specialist to join our Facilities Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the preventative maintenance program, ensuring that all equipment is serviced on scheduled intervals to maximize its life cycle.



Responsibilities



  • Maintain and develop the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is serviced on scheduled intervals.
  • Process, track, and reconcile project costs associated with renovations and new constructions.
  • Create, modify, and schedule preventative maintenance for all existing and new equipment using our IDN CMMS software.
  • Oversee the proper process and procedures for modifying existing, adding or removing equipment/systems, completing and closing of projects/service requests.
  • Provide emergency preparedness and follow-up as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, mechanical engineering).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • State of Florida driver's license and good driving record.
