Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Team Member to join our team at our award-winning NRMA Holiday Parks and Resorts. As a Cafe Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and customer service in our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food to company guidelines and customer preferences
• Liaise with food service staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, and utensils
• Conduct daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, and storage areas, and record assessments as necessary
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning schedules

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen
• Certificate in commercial cookery
• Working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
• Highly effective verbal communication skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to achieving team goals
