Culinary Specialist

{"h1": "Cafe Team Member", "p": "At NRMA Parks & Resorts, we are seeking a skilled Cafe Team Member to join our team. As a Cafe Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferences. You will work closely with the Café Manager, Park Manager, and the Group Food and Beverage Manager to represent the core values of the NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest experience.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferences
* Liaise with food service staff and management regarding customers' orders and general service of kitchen operations
* Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, utensils, and implements
* Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries, and recording assessment where necessary
* Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen
* Certificate in commercial cookery
* A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
* Possess highly effective verbal communication skills
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Happy to work as part of a team and chip in to get the job done right
