Project Cost Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Project Cost Estimator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing knowledge of our core business, our clients' needs, and gaining an in-depth understanding of their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating project costs and developing comprehensive budget reports
- Preparing bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, and detailed tender estimates
- Reviewing and analyzing contract documents, including contracts, tenders, and agreements
- Developing and implementing cost management strategies to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
- Providing expert advice on contract reviews, risk analysis, and claims costing
- Collaborating with commercial, contractual, and project controls teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a QS role within mining, resources, or infrastructure
- Contractor-side experience highly regarded
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Word
