Project Estimator Position

EnerMech is a global engineering company providing industrial integrity management and solutions to various industries.

We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to deliver Pre-Commissioning Commissioning Integrity Management & Maintenance services.

The Role

This position will contribute to the company's dynamic business, determining resources schedules, and costs associated with project delivery. The successful candidate will liaison with Subject Matter Experts and Operational personnel as required.

  • Develop estimates for Specialised Services considering all aspects ensuring alignment with work scope schedule engineering, and other project requirements.
  • Manage approval and distribution of Basis of Estimate and Bid Review/Approval documentation.
  • Perform and report on Cost Estimate escalation calculations.
  • Conduct Cost Risk Analysis and provide analysis reporting.
  • Identify and report any deviations from cost estimates and their causes.
  • Assist in developing and evaluating Sub-contractor/Vendor RFQ's.
  • Support Cost Controllers to monitor and manage project progress against the budget estimate.
  • Monitor and report on cost estimate changes and approvals.
Requirements

The successful applicant will have previous experience along with:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Estimating Engineering or Project Management role performing similar services.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering preferred.
  • Development of level 2/3 scheduled in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Advanced computer literacy with MS Office and an aptitude to learn.
  • Will to learn and develop personally and professionally.
