About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. This full-time position will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on aircraft and equipment in accordance with our manuals and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to dismantle, inspect, test, repair, and reassemble aircraft engines and subassemblies of aircraft frames.
  • Assemble parts and subassemblies of aircraft frames.
  • Replace and test aircraft oxygen system components.
  • Maintain aircraft and carry out regular inspections.
  • Maintain records of action taken.

Requirements

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Mechanical Aeroskills.
  • Be technically-minded and creative in your approach to work and finding solutions to issues.
  • Be able to interpret and analyze complicated information and put your findings into practice.
