Wag Competitive Gymnastics Coach

A thriving gymnastics club on Sydney's Northern Beaches is seeking a qualified Wag coach to join our dynamic team.

This role focuses on coaching competitive squads and contributing to our positive, athlete-centred environment.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and assisting competitive Wag squads
  • Preparing gymnasts for invitational, state, and interstate competitions
  • Collaborating with a strong team of experienced coaches
  • Supporting athlete progression and development
  • Maintaining safety standards and up-to-date coaching practices

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A passion for helping children reach their full potential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to growth

The Essential Requirements:

  • Gymnastics Australia Advanced Silver or FIG 2 Wag qualification (or working towards)
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Accredited member of Gymnastics Australia

Highly Regarded:

  • ALP knowledge and Intermediate Wag Judging accreditation
  • Experience in KinderGym/GfA coaching
  • First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (can be obtained)
  • Interest in mentoring junior coaches
