Assistant Store Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day management of the store, leading the team, visual merchandising, managing deliveries and stock.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, and support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and managing controllable costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team to achieve exceptional customer experiences and seamless shopping throughout the store.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and managing controllable costs.
  • Assume leadership of the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager on duty.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the team in customer service, product knowledge, and operational responsibilities.
  • Encourage development within the team by providing regular feedback.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience as a team leader, key holder, or manager is advantageous.
