About the Role:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced veterinary nurse who has a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to optimize patient outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning among the nursing staff.
  • Participate in the emergency or surgery nurse roster as a clinical nurse, depending on skillset and experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a veterinary or animal care setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary nursing practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to animals and their owners.
