Home Care Physiotherapist

Our organisation is currently seeking an experienced physiotherapist to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions in a community setting. As a physiotherapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people by providing them with the tools they need to maintain their independence.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. This will involve conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to improve their mobility and overall wellbeing.

About You:
  • Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience: Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community.
  • Skills: Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models, confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team, excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated computer literacy.

Bonus Points:

  • Post-graduate experience in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
