Job Title: Motorway and Tunnel Operations Leader

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional team leader with experience working in a control centre environment and a strong understanding of traffic management and smart motorway operations.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of Motorway and Tunnel Operations Controllers to meet performance objectives and improve outcomes for customers, as well as ensuring appropriate incident and congestion management responses are implemented by Motorways Management System (MMS) and other traffic management systems.

  • Strategic leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of traffic management principles and smart motorway operations.

A strong understanding of MMS, Sydney Co-ordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS), and SRMS operations is desirable. The role is hybrid-friendly, allowing for a mix of in-person days at the team's home base location and remote days.
