Customer Experience Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Experience Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and support our customers through various communication channels.

This role involves managing customer inquiries, supporting multiple products, and meeting individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team goals. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in Japanese and English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and effective solutions to customer concerns, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. They will also contribute to the development of business strategies and improve customer service through the execution of self-service options.

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support Multiple Products: Provide support for a combination of Agoda's products and services.
  • Meet KPIs and Team Goals: Achieve individual and team objectives, ensuring high-quality customer service and support.
  • Improve Customer Service: Contribute to the development of business strategies and improve customer service through self-service options.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of spoken and written business-level English and native-level Japanese or JLPT N1 qualification.
  • Communication Skills: Impeccable telephone manners and communication skills.
  • Critical Thinking and Attention to Detail: Excellent listening skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • Rotating Shifts: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
