About the Opportunity

We are seeking a distinguished educator in Nutrition to contribute to our academic community. The successful candidate will teach in the area of dietetics and/or nutrition, lead unit teaching teams, and foster innovative scholarship activities to enhance student experience and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach in the area of dietetics and/or nutrition, leading unit teaching teams and contributing to curriculum design and development.
  • Develop effective assessment tasks, rubrics, and provide timely feedback to learners.
  • Provide academic support to students, guiding them to appropriate support services where necessary.
  • Contribute to a culture of educational excellence, engaging collaboratively with peers and building teaching and learning capability.
  • Apply industry, clinical, and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement, and resources.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or other relevant qualifications and experience.
  • An excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
  • Current or recent experience in leadership or supervision in dietetic practice, nutrition care process, and dietetic counselling in private practice.
  • Scholarship activity in nutrition and dietetics aligning with the school's research strengths.
