Occulus International is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Western Sydney based team. As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and other OEM machinery across multiple workshops.

You will perform a range of maintenance tasks including engine rebuilds, diagnostics, fault identification, preventative and scheduled maintenance, and component replacements for a diverse fleet of mobile plant equipment.

Key responsibilities include rebuilding engines, clutches, gearboxes, and other critical components, conducting thorough fault diagnostics, performing engine overhauls and repairs, managing hydraulic system repairs, executing on-site fixes, and carrying out routine servicing.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diesel Mechanic (Mobile Plant) Trade Certificate or equivalent, strong CAT diagnostic and maintenance experience, and a valid Driver's License – minimum C class. Full Australian working rights and a Forklift License are also preferred.

Able to work independently and effectively without direct supervision, you will be proficient in utilising computer-based engine diagnostic programs and have experience working on premium brands.
