About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Exact Contracting. As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and scheduled and impromptu maintenance of company owned mobile plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and scheduled and impromptu maintenance of company owned mobile plant equipment.
- Workshop based duties and infield breakdowns in unique environments.
- Maintenance of a range of mobile plant equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, scrapers and haul trucks.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (essential).
- Auto-electrical experience (highly regarded).
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- At least two years of relevant experience maintaining road transport and earth moving equipment.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements.
- Dedication to learning, high quality work and achieving goals.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
