We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents in our residential aged care home.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to make a positive impact in the lives of our elderly residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents, acting as a team leader and providing coaching and supervision to personal care staff.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
