Professional Pastry Chef Opportunity

At Agnes Bakery Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, energetic pastry expert who has a passion for delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

  • Over 2 years' experience in a pastry role
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a love for creating high-quality food products
  • Completion of relevant courses in food safety and handling practices
Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience by delivering a high-level product, while maintaining mise en place and breakdown procedures.

They will also be expected to manage their section effectively, develop a deep understanding of the restaurant's concepts and menus, and participate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve personal and team performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in a pastry role
  • Experience in a busy and professional environment
  • Good communication and attitude
  • Organised with a love for well-executed food
  • Course completion of 'use hygienic practices for food safety and participate in safe food handling practices'
