Swim Coach Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, passionate and enthusiastic Swim Coach to join our team on a part-time basis. The role comes with a guaranteed minimum of 15-20 hours per week year-round, with additional hours available during school holidays.

Our swim school is a year-round facility that prides itself on being a supportive workplace and vibrant atmosphere. Our philosophy revolves around nurturing achievement and celebration across our programs and with our swimmers, parents, and team. We focus on fun, fitness, speed, and form in our programs, with a touch of friendly competition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our squad program at our Cannon Hill pool. As an experienced and qualified coach, you will:

  • Coach a 4-level recreational/competitive squad program and higher learn-to-swim levels
  • Support continuous development opportunities, including paid training and professional development

You will work closely with young squad swimmers aged 7-14 years, combining in-water and out-of-water coaching for the first two levels and focusing on out-of-water coaching for the last two levels. You must possess a positive behavior management approach, embody personality plus, and prioritize relationship-building over swimming technique.

If you hold nationally recognized Learn to Swim and Coaching Qualifications, a Blue Card, and CPR certification, combined with relevant experience, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
